It is a still, hot day in Cape Town today. It is Spring break but it feels like summer.
This recipe by Lizzie Loves Healthy (although not strictly Mediterranean) is simple and beautiful, and is currently speaking to me. It seems summery and delicious.
I love apricots and almonds and today learnt that I had confused the frangipani flowers that bloom in my garden with frangipane, which is similar to but different from marzipan.
I was introduced to Lizzie King by a friend of mine who lives in London and I follow her on instagram. She makes easy, healthy food and her recipes are naturally gluten, sugar and dairy free. Which ticks a lot of boxes.
I plan on making this this weekend with the girls. So as I have yet to bake it, here is an image of some frangipani from our garden.
