We had burgers for supper tonight. Not Mediterranean as such but besides the white bun a pretty healthy burger.
Friends of ours have started a company called Fenshams selling hormone and antibiotic free range chicken and have added these beef and venison burger patties to their offering. “From cattle and game that roam freely on the Namibian veld.”
We added cooked onion, slices of fresh tomato, organic lettuce leaves, chives, spring onions, and avocado served with a homemade tahini, lemon and hummus sauce.
It was an exercise in our eating less, but high quality, organic, hormone-free meat.
